How do I create my event vault?
Sign up for a free Event Vault account, name your event, and your online guestbook is live in under 2 minutes. No technical skills needed — just a few taps and you're ready to share.
How much does Event Vault cost?
Starter is just $4.99 per event — no subscription. You only pay if you choose to upgrade to Celebrate ($29.99) for full features.
How do I share my event with guests?
You'll get a unique link and a QR code you can print, text, or add to your invitations. Guests open it on any device — no app, no download required.
Can I customize how my guestbook looks?
Yes. Celebrate ($29.99) includes AI Invite Studio for generating custom invitations, and all plans let you share via QR codes and direct links.
Guests & Messages
What is a Private Memory?
When a guest leaves a message, they choose whether it's a Shared Memory — visible in your event playback — or a Private Memory, delivered only to you. Private Memories are for personal notes, heartfelt sentiments, or anything a guest wants to say directly to the host. They never appear in shared playback.
How do I access Private Memories from my guests?
Private Memories are kept in your Private Vault, a separate section inside Playback. To open it, tap "Private Memories" and type PRIVATE to confirm — a small, intentional step before reading something personal. The unlock lasts for your current session.
Can guests be sure their private message is truly private?
Yes. Private Memories are never included in Cinematic Playback™, shared galleries, or any guest-facing view. Only the host can see them, and only after deliberately opening the Private Vault.
Can I view memories on the Starter plan?
Yes. Starter hosts can collect and view guest photos, videos, voice notes, and written memories in a simple gallery and feed experience. Celebrate ($29.99) unlocks Cinematic Playback™, Story Mode™, immersive viewing themes, and all advanced tools.
Do my guests need an account to leave a message?
No. Guests open the link or scan the QR code and leave their message instantly — no sign-up, no app, no friction whatsoever.
What types of messages can I collect?
Text, voice, video, and photo messages from guests. Guests can record video up to 60 seconds, voice messages up to 10 minutes, write text messages, or upload photos and videos from their camera roll.
Is there a limit to how many messages I can collect?
No limit. Every voice deserves to be heard, regardless of which plan you're on.
Can my guests send a monetary gift alongside their message?
Yes. Guests can attach a monetary gift with their message. Starter events have a 10% platform fee. Celebrate events have just 5%.
How long will my vault last?
Forever. Every message is saved and yours to keep. You can revisit your vault any time after the event — there's no expiry date.

Can I use this as a wedding guestbook alternative?
Absolutely — it's one of our most popular use cases. Instead of a paper book, guests leave video messages, voice notes, and written memories. Many couples say it's the most treasured thing from their wedding day.
What kinds of events work best with Event Vault?
Weddings, baby showers, graduations, birthdays, retirements, engagements, and anniversaries — any moment worth remembering. If people you love will be in the same place, Event Vault belongs there too.
Can I keep my event private?
Yes. Your event page is only accessible to people who have the link. It is never listed publicly or discoverable by search.
Can I run multiple events?
Yes. You can create as many events as you like. Each one gets its own link, QR code, and vault. Celebrate plans let you save and reuse guest lists across events.

What's included in the Starter plan?
Starter ($4.99) includes event creation, up to 50 messages, basic Photo Booth, QR and link sharing, basic Vinny chat, and monetary gift collection (10% fee). One-time per event.
What does Celebrate ($29.99) include?
Everything. Celebrate unlocks all features: email invitations, RSVP tracking, guest import, Cinematic Playback™, Story Mode™, AI Invite Studio™, Vinny™ Concierge (full AI event management), paid ticketing with Stripe payouts, all 60 Photo Booth combos, and lowest gift fees (5%). One-time per event.
What is Planner Pro?
Planner Pro ($49.99/month) gives you professional event management tools: client dashboard, white label branding (your logo, your colors, no Event Vault branding), reusable templates and guest lists, cross-event analytics, priority support, and unlimited event management. Perfect for planners, venues, and repeat hosts. Cancel anytime. Note: event features (Playback, Story Mode, etc.) are still determined by each event's own tier.
Is there a free plan?
We offer Starter at $4.99 — the lowest price point for a video guest book with more features than anything else on the market. No free tier, but Starter includes everything you need for a great event.
What payment methods do you accept?
Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Apple Pay, and Google Pay — all processed securely through Stripe.
Payouts & Getting Paid
How do I connect payouts and get paid?
Getting paid through Event Vault is simple and only takes a few minutes. Inside your event dashboard, tap the Connect payouts button. You'll be securely redirected to Stripe to confirm your identity, add your bank account, and set up where payouts should go. Once complete, you'll be brought back to Event Vault automatically — and your payouts will be connected.
Do I have to do this every time?
No — this is a one-time setup. Once your payouts are connected, you can create unlimited events, receive monetary gifts instantly, and get paid automatically.
Is this secure?
Yes. Event Vault uses Stripe, a global payment platform trusted by millions of businesses. Your banking information is handled securely by Stripe and never stored on Event Vault.
When do I get paid?
Funds are sent directly to your connected account after each monetary gift, depending on Stripe's payout schedule (usually within a few days).
I saw something called "Save with Link" — what is that?
That's optional. Stripe may ask if you want to save your information for faster checkout across the web. You can safely skip this — it does not affect your payouts.
What if payouts don't connect?
If your connection doesn't complete, try clicking "Connect payouts" again and make sure you finish all steps on Stripe. If the issue continues, contact support and we'll help immediately.

Yes. Event Vault lets you collect monetary gifts directly through your event page. Celebrate unlocks both free ticketing and paid ticketing with Stripe payouts. Fees: Starter 10%, Celebrate 5%.
Vinny™ Concierge
What is Vinny™?
Vinny™ is your built-in event planning assistant — available on every host page. He helps you understand where your event stands, track readiness, prepare reminders, and get context-aware guidance. Think of him as a knowledgeable colleague who takes your event seriously.
What can Vinny™ help with?
Vinny can guide you through guest setup, QR card printing, Stripe payouts, invite timing, RSVP strategy, Playback™, Invite Studio™, and more. He answers questions about Event Vault features, helps you think through your event readiness, and surfaces the kind of suggestions a seasoned event coordinator would offer.
Does Vinny™ send messages automatically?
No. Vinny™ can prepare suggestions and actions, but important actions always require host approval. Vinny never sends messages, alters your event, or charges payments without your command. This is a core principle of how Vinny works.
Does Vinny take actions or just give advice?
Both. Vinny can execute 28 different actions — adding guests, sending invitations, managing RSVPs, designing invites, and more. Safe actions happen automatically. Sensitive actions (like sending emails or making changes) always ask for your confirmation first. You stay in control.
Is Vinny™ included in my plan?
Full Vinny™ Concierge is included with Celebrate ($29.99) — AI event management with guided actions, planning, and execution. Starter plans include 5 free Vinny messages per conversation.
Will Vinny replace my wedding planner or coordinator?
No. Vinny handles the digital and organizational side of your Event Vault — not the logistics of your venue, catering, or ceremony. He complements your planning team by keeping your vault running smoothly.
